Most Lean Guys are Supply Chain guys, and I started out my career in supply chain and logistics in the UK. Helping clients improve often requires experience in supply chain operations and I bring this into my service offering.
Typically, my approach is working with key stakeholders to understand the current state, using proven mapping and analysis techniques. At this stage, key issues are identified and developed as key improvement opportunities.
Working with leadership, a key deliverable is a high level summary of improvement opportunities, prioritised implementation plan, based on leading supply chain principles with benefits identified and quantified.
Business plans would be cross referenced against the improvement opportunities, improvement projects scoped, including a high-level implementation road map.
